We also specialize in extreme duty diesel transmissions — from towing giant loads to blazing the drag strip.

Cryogenic Parts Treatment

Circle D now offers this service with the help of the professionals at L&S Cryogenics. Cryogenic treated parts are less prone to breakage and wear. This process uses extreme cold temperatures to alter the microstructure of a given material. Steel and steel alloys are the most common benefactors of this treatment. There have been several studies showing the benefit in aluminum, plastic and wood as well. By using temperatures as low as -310 degrees Fahrenheit, the residual distress is relieved and the dimensional stability is increased. Many professional motor-sports teams have utilized this process and have shown dramatic increases in durability and performance of the treated parts.
